Warranties

We warrant that all Products we provide will be of reasonably satisfactory quality and will materially comply with their applicable specification for the periods specified in the table below, in each case running from the date of purchase, subject to the terms below, the terms of our Returns Policy and our General Terms.

All our shower doors and bath screens conform to EN12150 and are CE approved.

Extended Guarantee

All of our Products come with a standard 2-year guarantee which can be extended (in respect of Products marked with an * in the table above) at no extra cost.

To avail of the extended guarantee period, you must register your Product online at https://www.mylifebathrooms.com/product-registration/ and click register guarantee to complete the online form.

Terms & Conditions of Guarantees

  1. The guarantee does not cover deliberate or accidental loss or damage, neglect, improper use or negligence, fair wear or tear or poor installation, abnormal storage or use conditions, or any further damage caused after you have first initiated a Product warranty or return claim.
  1. To be covered by our guarantee you must be the original purchaser of the Product (including a consumer who has purchased the Product directly from one of our authorised distributors).
  1. All Products must be bought in the UK or Ireland and installed by a qualified plumber. Evidence of this will need to be provided to support any claim.
  1. Product guarantees only cover domestic use.
  1. Proof of purchase is required to support any claim made.
  1. Products must be available for inspection and should not be removed or destroyed without our prior consent, we may also request photographic evidence.
  1. All Products must be installed according to our instructions for the storage, commissioning, installation, use, cleaning and maintenance according to our recommendations (or if there are none good trade practice regarding same). Installation must be carried out in line with good plumbing and electrical fitting practice. Defects are not covered to the extent you fail to follow such instructions.
  1. Furniture finishes (solid wood veneers) can change colour overtime due to either natural ageing or the impact of direct sunlight. This is not considered a Product fault and as such no associated claims for damage will not be accepted.
  1. Claims for damage caused by water ingress will not be accepted if a watertight (silicone) seal has not been used between the basin and furniture, as detailed in installation documents.
  1. Claims for Products not performing due to insufficient water pressure will not be accepted. Details of minimum pressure requirements are available on our websites and these must be checked prior to installation. The minimum bar pressures stated in our brochure serve as a guideline to incoming water pressure required to give the relevant flow rates on our technical data sheets. Pipe work diameters and distance of flow runs can be different from household to household and may in turn affect the flow rates stated.
  1. The guarantee (whether standard or extended) is non-transferable to any subsequent owner.
  1. After repair or replacement, the relevant guarantee period will be calculated from the original date of purchase.
  1. No claim will be accepted if a Product is installed with a fault that if at any stage found not to be due to a manufacturing fault.
  1. We reserve the right to charge for any costs both labour and replacement goods incurred as a result of a claim which is not covered by our warranties.
  1. If there is a problem due to fault that is covered by these warranties we will repair, supply a suitable part or replace the Products.
  1. If the Products are no longer available, we will replace this with the nearest equivalent from our Product range.
  1. These guarantees do not extend to ex-display Products.
  1. The following additional exclusions apply:
  1. Damage caused by lime-scale, mildew, chemicals or inappropriate cleaning;
  2. Glass breakage;
  3. Radiators containing electric elements that have been in use without water covering all of the elements; and
  4. Products that have been modified or altered without our consent.
  1. Where you are a consumer, nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights, but any returns requests must be processed through the distributor you purchased your Products from in the first instance.

Product colours may vary. All measurements are in millimetres and together with photographs are for guidance only. We reserve the right to change our specifications without prior notice. Errors and omissions are excepted.

Refund, repair or replacement requests must be requested and processed under the terms of our Returns Policy.
